Hello everyone - a fellow designer had provided me this link ( http://twistedsifter.com/2012/04/adding-monsters-to-thrift-store-paintings/) and I thought I'd share it with all of you. Quite honestly, it's pretty nifty. Artists Chris McMahon and Thryza Segal find landscape paintings at thrift stores, such as Goodwill or the Salvation Army and give them a second life by adding monsters to the scenic landscapes. It's a pretty fun idea really. I personally would not want to hang any of these in my house. These artists are quite talented in that they try to match the original paint and blend these monsters into the scenery as if they were always there. It's entertaining to see really. I could see these in a coffee house or an eclectic shop of some sort.

Here are some of their re-creations:

enjoy!
